Photography Magic with Household Items (Ages 10-15)

Website

Held on Monday, Oct. 13 (School Holiday)

In this hands-on workshop, students (10-15) will learn to go beyond the smart phone filters and use phone cameras and everyday household items—like mirrors, flashlights, plastic wrap, and kitchen tools—to explore the magic of photography.

Through playful experimentation, they’ll learn how to use light, reflection, and simple tricks to create surprising visual effects.

This class encourages kids to look at the world in new ways and use their screens with creativity and intention—no fancy gear required. Perfect for budding photographers, visual thinkers, and any kid who loves turning the ordinary into something extraordinary!

If your child has a phone with a camera, please have them bring it. The studio will also have a few shared cameras and iPads available for students who need them.
