Explore watercolor through the colors and textures of the season in this fresh and playful painting workshop.
Overview: Using fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and florals gathered the weekend before class, you’ll learn foundational watercolor techniques while creating loose, expressive paintings inspired by the season. Together, we’ll work with wet-on-wet painting, color mixing, layering, and brush techniques while observing real market produce and letting watercolor move naturally across the page. This workshop is less about creating a perfect painting and more about enjoying the process, noticing small details, and making space to play with color. Whether you’re completely new to watercolor or looking for a fresh source of inspiration, this class offers a relaxed and welcoming way to spend a summer evening creating. All materials are included.
