A long, storied history… grown from a pinecone Tannersville was formed at the foot of Hunter Mountain during the same time that Bob Dylan, The Band, and Van Morrison called the Catskills their home. Tannersville moved up to the mountain from Westchester, NY, in the early 1970's to an eight-bedroom farmhouse known as "The Pinecone" on historic Route 23A to work on material for a record deal. Along the way, they opened for such rock acts as The J. Geils Band and The Edgar Winter Group on their Frankenstein Tour. Since then, the band has written and recorded five independent studio albums, streaming worldwide on all music platforms in a dozen countries. While Tannersville's music has been described as Americana, their arrangements have been compared to those of CSN's  Brian Wilson's, and Elton John's arrangements.
